I am very interested in having backyard chickens. We have lived part time in Florida since 1972, and for last 4 years of that in Sarasota. We have come to the stage of deciding which of our two states we would like to make our year around home. One of the small parts of our decision depends on Sarasota's decision about backyard chickens; the other town, Lexington, KY. does allow them.
